Left Italy heading for Slovenia, before we knew it we had crossed the border. Had meant to fill up but was over border so quick missed chance. Good job as paid 1.54€ ?. So far Slovenia is cheap and very pleasant.
Vineyard winery campsite with tents and campers not great for anything longer than 7.5m
The meal was 8 courses, 7 wines, 4 hours and 78€ so not cheap. Everything was very nice different although it was very slow especially if the course was warm but it was slow. Without the bread we would both have left hungry?. Glad we did it wouldn’t do it again, the ingredients were good and it was very well cooked but I would have preferred a 3 course menu rather than 8. Highlights salmon and sausage dishes, pinot Gris and rose wines.

Left Venice travelled 2 hours via a large ipermarket, to UNESCO world heritage site Palmanova very nice fortified city.
Decided to stop for 2 nights, before heading to Slovenia.

Left Lake Garda, very easy journey via a Spar and an Italian McD. Toll road very cheap in comparison to France.Camping Venezia very efficient, narrow pitches but enough for van and awning just if needed.Price: 20€

Left our lovely park up at Bad Bellingen, and headed towards Basel and Switzerland. The border was big, long lines of trucks but we just sailed through did not see a single Swiss customs or border person.The VIA app was installed and 10 individual days purchased 1 day validated and that was itWe had aimed for a free stop at Hergiswil on the side of a mountain over looking lake Lucerne and the Alps stunning even on a grey wet day. It was incredibly windy and exposed so we decided to move after a coffee. Another free stop planned but missed the turn due to road works so carried onto a campsite (plan C). This was a nightmare trip with roadworks and a one way system via single track roads that they didn’t put any signs up for so we ended up trying to go the wrong way and had to squeeze over a tiny bridge nut very haha.The campsite had a bizarre check in process where they leave cards outside and you choose a pitch and take the appropriate card. First pitch mile’s from electric post, 2nd pitch uneven but ok. The electric connection is one we do nut have or have ever seen before uniquely Swiss hopefully, so we are not on EHU but acsi makes the medicine go down.The campsite restaurant has a schnitzel and fries for 19€ ??. We declined and had pasta and beer in the van.Price: 22

An Aire that cost about 18€, but large hardstanding pitches, within a lovely town, next to supermarket and thermal baths and spa.Arrived about 14:00 checked in and then decided to try the spa. Was excellent felt thoroughly cleansed and refreshed although tired a great stop and would stop again.Did not eat out but in town a few places to try.Price: 18€. Spa 14.50

Left the PandR and cracked on with travelling for a couple pulled over for breakfast turnabout it was lunch.Decided to get past Karlsruhe and then stop, picked a stop just outside Muhllecker, 3€, parked up all ok, but decided to move to a free spot just by a Netto for some shopping. Again parked up seemed ok got talking to a German who suggested we should try Maulbron again free but a month Ch nicer place according to him. We checked it out and decided to give it a go. Again a nice stop although a much tighter spot than we prefer.Decided to stay and got some shopping from Rewe round the corner next to Aldi.
Had a schnitzel dinner in the Cafe ZENTRALE very nice along with some Kaiserscharm.Price: free

Park and ride outside Luxembourg city, very big lots to do cycling walking woods etc… Nothing else there, lots of buses.
