Awoke about 9am, to seagulls, breakfasted and then off to the train for Geza
CBT, had a wander round the market and bought some veg, then back to tha van to
clear up and head out for fuel and supplies. The service point was new and
required a card to pay for the ticket and for drinking water and electric. An
english couple who had been in Spain since Feb and just on their way back were
using the water point, it give a lot of water in fact they filled their tank and
every container in the van, there were alot, apparently this is unheard of value! Continue reading “Mamers, 2nd day in France”

Le Treport and first crossing

3.6.16 Home to Folkestone to Calais to Le Treport.

Left home about 9:30am, tunnel booked for 11:50 (no chance), decided to refuel
once we were within 10 miles of the tunnel, looking on maps there were petrol
stations at most junctions. Picked 10 as a possible and if all else failed then
would use Tescos at J12. Pulled off at 10 to find the Shell station closed and
people queuing to get in, so carried onto to J12 almost empty and at 109.9
